A Strong Website Will Improve Your Sales, Registrations, or Membership

Every company or organization has a purpose. If you have a retail store, you want to sell something. If you pastor a church, you want to spread the Gospel and get folks involved . If you have a martial arts school, you want to garner interest and get new students. If you are a booster club, you want to promote your team and generate donations. If you have a civic organization, you want to grow your membership. And no matter what your goal, a website can help you achieve it. A strong website is like having a billboard, an ad in every yellow pages on earth, and a toll free number all in one. It allows you to both attract and communicate with your audience. For example, did you know that there is a correlation between affluence and Internet usage?

Ipsos Mendelsohn, an international media and marketing research firm, reported in September 2008 that affluent Americans—those with an income of more than $100,000.00 per year—surfed the Internet an average 25.9 times a week, or about 3.7 times every day (Affluent Survey Brochure, Ipsos Mendelsohn, New York, September 2008). Some 64.7 percent of affluent Americans used the Internet to research restaurants, movie times, or other similar services, and 62.4 percent of the richest Americans used the Internet to research products or services for purchase. With all of that Online activity, is there really a doubt that a strong website could attract new customers?
